    First off this glue is only suitable for use on rubber, like that found in tubes and tires. If you are gluing anything else, this will not work.

    Got this hoping it would be suitable for fixing bicycle tubes.
    I tested it using the following methods, gluing rubber innertube to rubber innertube with test pieces about 1x4 inches. I clamped with about 10lbs pressure.

    1. scratch with sandpaper, glue both sides, wait until dry, then press hard together and wait 10 minutes(This method works with Rema glue and patches).
    Result: no adhesion. the glue pulls off one side and sticks to the other.

    2. Glue unprepared rubber, let dry, then clamp for 5 days(the lazy method).
    Result: no adhesion

    For the following tests I sanded the rubber very well, removing about 20% of the thickness, then I cleaned the rubber with gasoline and dried it(there is a lot of rubber dust on the tube after sanding).

    3. Glue and clamp 10 minutes- fail
    4. Glue and clamp 1 day - fail
    5. Glue and clamp 3 days - fail. The patch pulled off about as easy as you can pull tape off a surface. This is probably enough to seal a hole, but with any rubbing it will separate (inside an inflated tire, there should be no rubbing)
    6. Glue and clamp 7 days - success. The patch will not peel easily, it feels like the rubber wants to rip, instead of the glue separating.

    7. with no gasoline cleaning, clamping 7 days - success. A perfectly clean surface is not required.

    The way this glue works is by de-vulcanizing the surface of the rubber to turn it back like raw latex, the two surfaces will then meld together and form one piece of rubber.
    This glue is slower than other rubber tube glues, but it does work fine in the end.
    You can use old tubes as patches with this glue.
    Cheap price, the only downside is the big tube of glue will go dry. You can stop this from happening by never letting air into the tube when closing it, hold the top up and squeeze until excess glue comes out, then put the cap on over the leaking out glue. If you do this, it will last 2-3 years once opened.
    Also there was no instructions at all from Slime on how to use this glue, or for what purpose. They expect everyone to do testing like I have done, I suppose.

    This product is absolute garbage. They might as well send you a tube of white glue for all the good this does in helping to seal a tire. What you really need to help seal a tire and/or a tire plug or patch is vulcanizing "Tire Cement" not this white glue type garbage.
